I've got an idea

I just re sealed a rimless 24 x 24 x 12 3/4 tank.... Will fit perfectly next to my current tank...... Should I make a large fuge and connect it to my current tank, or maybe a FOWLR that is connected to my current tank.... The combined water volume would be near 70 gallons, plus it would be neat to have the interconnected tanks! What do u think?

Thats really a personal opinion. Do you "want" to see fish moving around in there? Do you "want" to see just plant life and pods? Both would be cool, but, for me, since I have a 125 with fish, "I" would make it a fuge jungle and pod haven, IF you have fish waste to feed it.

Now, your mileage and personal likes/taste and reasoning might be different. Just let us know what you decide, and, dont forget the pics :) .

not a new idea. you could connect it to supply/return lines and have a means of isolating the flow to use as quarantine tank, with a HOB filter in a pinch.
