reef octo nwb 200

ok so i just bought the reef octopus nwb 200...... my question is is there any way to quiet the otp pump down? its crazy loud, any insight is appreciated.

usually pumps will quiet down when they break in. Give it a few weeks for the shaft and bearing to seat into one another. It is not the best pump so take it with a grain of salt that a cheap made in china pump will not be the quietest.
