Can you buy and dump in too many pods? Would this even be considered over feeding because the food is live?

Depending on how big you tank is, and how long it has been up, it could cause nutrient issues. The die off/consumption of them could cause an ammonia and a subsequent nitrate spike. That really shouldn't be an issue with most tanks though.

how many did you add and to how much water volume

well I add several pods all the time, so there is not really a fixed number that I can say, I added x for x

but the tank is only 29gallons, and has a hob refuge.

Going to be adding more pods tonight, hopefully, only like 250.

Are they good at reproducing in a hob refuge?

Also I was watching some promotional material for pods and the guy promoting it said that you can never over feed ur tank with live pods because they are live.

That depends on whether or not you feed the pods.
If there is not suficient food for them they will die off.

they eat phyoto right? So just a few drops of that a day should be fine?

Well bottle don't say what to do just says don't add this much but last time I tried to ad the max of what the bottle said I had a nitrate issues that has now been resolved.

So I will be adding in drops if any but yea not sure how many drops to ad, and everyday?

Remember water displacement when reading the direction for adding to your tank. I usually do half of what the direction ask for. Ex: oyster feast.

Yea well

Don't it grow naturally in the tank anyway?
