All, I am just finishing putting the final touches on my 90 gallon and I want to go bare bottom with this tank.

I will have a deep sand bed in the refugium if that matters?

Any recommendations as to the types and amount for a decent clean up crew for the tank would be appreciated. I don't have any preferences at this point so I am willing to consider anything. Thanks

I would start with 20-30 assorted small snails and add to it as the need dictates. A mix of Cerith, Nerite, Trochus and Astraea snails is good. Astraea snails cannot right themselves if they get knocked over so you need to help them on occasion but they are great algae eaters and worth the trouble to me. A few nassarius snails for your deep sand bed are a good idea, but don't put them in your DT, they need sand. I like to keep small hermit crabs, some do not. 5-10 of them is a good starting number if you keep them.
