kalk question

i use a calcium reactor and have zero expertice on kalk. is this doable...big brute container used for mixing up kalk. daily filling a 5 gallon pail gavity controlled with a float in sump for addition of top up and kalk. obviously would have to figure out how mush kalk to add to top up water. also can vinegar be added to the same 5er. thanks

That sounds reasonable.

Yes you can add vinegar. It even comes with the added benefit of being able to dissolve more kalk in the same amount of water.
