Hello,

I am going to be setting up a new 210 gallon aquarium (72x24x30). I would like to have a mixed reef configuration. I will have a 55 gallon sump and a separate 30 gallon refug. For the main tank, I was thinking about building a DIY kit from rapidLED. This is the kit I am thinking about purchasing:

http://www.rapidled.com/standard-180g-tank-dimmable-kit/

I know it says that it is for a 180 gallon tank, however, the store assured me that it would be fine for my tank...do you agree? Also, I will be purchasing a controller--have my eye on the Neptune APEX system. I want to be able to do a night/day 24 hour simulation with the LEDs. Additionally, I've seen people do cook think like simulate thunderstorms and cloud movement with LEDs. Would I be able to do this with the above kit and APEX controller?

Thanks!
