Is CPVC cement safe to use for in sump plumbing?

I picked up cpvc cement instead of pvc cement on accident. Can i use it for my plumbing?

As long as it's good for potable water then yes it will work just fine.

Yes as long as you're using CPVC. For PVC you need to use PVC cement. Although the system isn't under pressure you're asking for problems down the road using the incorrect solvent for the material.
