Coming from t5's but had a 5 day no light period due to down sizing tanks. Some sps browned out bu tthe LPS look good. I currently have the Radon v1 set at 5 hours of 40 percent 20k. Is this too much or too little? I was thinking of bumping it up 5 percent a week then after I get it up in intensity lengthing the photo period. The fixture is at least 12 inches off the surface and the tank is 24 inches deep. I'm usually very conservitive with lighting changes so some opinions on this plan please.

Thanks

I would recommend running a photoperiod (total) of at least 7 or 8 hours. Perhaps you can run it for that amount of time and still increase it 5%/week until your livestock is fully content.

Got a recommendation from a reputable reefer that I should run them 8 hours on the 20 k setting for 8 hours then bump them up each week,

I started mine at about 35-40% of full intensity and raised it 5% each week.

Doing good so far. THe 20k setting is a bit blue for my taste so after I get the corals acclimated I think I will try 16k.
