We have a colony that is starting to brown a bit. Two weeks ago we moved it to a more prominent part of the tank that is pretty high. Would the bright LED's cause this? All other zoa's haven't had any color change as they are in the same spot. Just looking for ideas.

I would think the bright light would be better to keep their colors, assuming that all the other params are ok. I guess it would also depend on the species. Perhaps you should wait a little more to see what happens.
Depending on the LED fixture they could be getting lower light than they should.

Let's see what others will post.
Good luck!

I would leave them be in some shade for awhile. (at least 3 weeks) Maybe your just seeing the "outskirts" right now. GL.

I notice that mine are happiest under lower light/med-high flow. Try tucking them into a shady spot for a bit and see if they perc up.
