Hello everone,
I will change my aquarium size with smaller one and i want to use my old tank saltwater.
I would like to know is there any oppurtunity ( filtering system ) to get old water without aiptasia spores. Maybe small micron filter bags 2 or 3 inside each others.
Thank you very much.

A UV light would work at the proper flow rate. I don't think there is a sock filter readily available that would catch anything as small as spores and if there was it would clog immediately.

Coffee filter should work

like advised above, uv is the best bet.

I don't see a coffee filter being fine enough to catch spores. You are looking at spores in the range of 5 microns, so even a 100 micron filter sock is not going to catch them.

Why risk? Just replace with new batch of RO/DI salt mixed water.
