If money wasn't a problem, this (http://www.aquacave.com/Bubble-King-Deluxe-650-External-Protein-Skimmer-by-Royal-Exclusiv-P2564.aspx) would be one of the best.

Or, to make that $10,000 skimmer look like a Fisher Price toy, you could get a custom built GEO skimmer:D

Well then you answered your own question.

The 180 would be too big though. More like Bk160.

People like octopus skimmers but you should start your research by reading customer reviews on sites like marine depot and settle on a couple of skimmers that will fit your needs. Come back and ask an opinion on these skimmers or else you'll get 25 or so recommendations.

Remember too, that there is a point of diminishing returns. I don't see a need to spend the big bucks for the "high-end" models as there are plenty of middle level models that will work just about as well. So, take that money you saved and buy some nice corals, fish or other stuff you may need.

money no object for a 75... I would get a reef dynamics ins135E(eheim pump), or an atb840.. I have the ins135. Gotta get an atb840 to try it out and see if it can compete or win. probably will be an xmas present to myself.
