I am looking to add a power head or two to my 29 gallon JBJ cube. The tank has been running for a year now and I wanted some new water movement for my BTA and sebae. Any adivse would be greatly appreicated

Okay, well ad a power head, or even a nano wave maker from Vortech.

There are two I like Tunze nano or Vortech MP10 Both have advantages over the other.

Tunze dead silent, but a larger foot print inside the tank.

Vortech smaller footprint inside the tank. A little noisy when ramping up, and I just do not like the look of the motor hanging on the outside of the tank.

Either would be an excellent choice...

Those are great choices and a bit on the expensive side. I put in a hydor koralia 240 gph power head and my cube has been doing good. Yes the wave makers are awesome but $200 for a pump is expensive compared to $30 for a koralia. Just saying.

Hydor koralia 240gph or if you want more flow you can go with the 425gph. I am using the 240gph and my outlet on the return from the filter pump has a hydor flow rotating wave maker. Its only $20 extra bucks and helps create random flow in the tank.

i have the rotating flow already on on return pump and will most likely get the koralia due to budget reasons

Sounds good, I went the same route and so do many others without a problem.
