I decided to start all over - fighting the green slime for almost 2 years now.
I did set up a temporary tank for the stuff I plan to rescue and for the new tank, I am thinking of buying new good quality base and shelf rock.

Is there a LFS carrying high quality rock or should I get it online?

If someone needs infested rock, let me know. $50 and it is yours. About75 pounds...

Btw, fobeboy - I like these rocks.
How do you "seed" them, with a few pounds of LR?
What are your rocks made off? How mucho do they cost?

Ya I'm planning to seed it with Live rock... rock is made of Portland cement dry sand Rock salt.... price is pretty cheap.... Portland cement is the hardest thing to get.... dry argonite sand is pretty cheap..

Will find out - $6-8 sounds about right. Online it is probably $1 per pound cheaper. I like your Portland cement sculptures. How do you get these nice shapes, fobeboy?

Seen Living Art aquarium ad on CL $5.99lb for Real Reef rock on sale this week. Been meaning to check out this store. I'd attach a link to the CL ad but I'm not sure if that's allowed. RC noob lol.

Nicely done on the rockwall. I tried making my own but I think I over did it with the rock salts and it crumbled after a FW dip. :(

Try this.. for every 2 cups of cement put 1/2 of cup..... plus make sure u crush the rock salt first , not to much , just enough .... GL....

Pet club in Westborough has it. Your talking about the painted/dyed man made stuff right. I think it's like $5.99 a pound. Looks super nice and good shapes.
