I have 3 reef tanks in my house, a 125 120 and a 20 gallon. Want to get a ro/di system, how many gpd do i need? I use about 5 gallons a day in top off total with all 3 tanks. Also all there tanks are in the basement where there is no sink, so i would have to put it in main floor kitchen sink, how does that work exactly? Do the rodi come out the normal faucet or do i need a bucket under the sink?

So that is 2 gallons per hour so it would take 2.5 Hours to fill a 5 gallon Bucket right?

Sounds close.
50 gallons a day. The 75gpd is the same price as the 50gpd. The only difference is that they put a different flow restrictor on the same system.
I also got a 3.5 gallon reservoir for RO water and faucet dispenser. When i want to make RO/DI water, it pulls from the RO storage tank first. I don't have to wait for it to drip fill the 5 gallon bucket as it filters it.

I got the BRS 5 stage plus with drinking water. (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/bulk-reverse-osmosis-filters-systems/reverse-osmosis-systems/drinking-water-systems/brs-5-stage-drinking-reef-plus-ro-di-system-75gpd.html). I put a tee in one of my supply lines to a washer faucet to the RO line adapter. I put the drinking water reservoir in my basement and ran the line up to my kitchen. I am using 2 Brute trash cans for RODI storage. I use one while the other is dry, then fill the empty one when I am getting low. I figure this prevents excess bacterial growth, but have both so that I can have a large reserve of water for my family in case of an extended power outage.

i have a 90 gpd spectra pure got it for a bargin from a friend, brand new paid 150 for it. I think they go 200+
get a garden hose adapter (its easier than tinkering with pre existing water lines) and a tds meter
make sure everytime you run it that you let the first couple of ounces be collected in a smaller cup because the resin will leak some of the impurities when not in use.
Ive timed mine so when i have 4 gallons i can come back and stop it before it floods my kitchen.
i have a in reading of 190 (+/- 20)
and a out reading of 0
