Hey everyone,

I need to bump up my calcium levels by ~ 100ppm. How fast can I do this? Pour it all in at once (slowly :) ) or something like 25ppm/day...

Thanks,

Low

Its best to do things slow...buuttttt, when it comes to calcium, I'll just dump it in. Alk is what you have to be careful with. Some will say do it slow, I'd just throw it in until you reach your desired level. Check your alk and mag the next day to see that they are stable as well

Word. That's what I was thinking...and have always done. HOWEVER...my calcium pretty far off atm. 100ppm.

Legit.

Anyone else?

Thanks Taylor

BRS says don't raise by more than 50 a day, so I'd say just do two doses a day apart

Two doses sounds like a good idea to me, too. Up to 100 ppm generally is safe, but getting the right dose takes some guesswork.
