Hi ,,,

Can i use Florida crushed coral from Caribsea for calcium reactor media , if yes what is the PH ?

Long ago people used it, but it has a very high proportion of shells in it, which usually contain a lot of po4 so you are adding a lot of po4 to the tank. As it is, I pick out all of the shells from my CaRx media before putting it into the reactor.

If it has a lot of shells, it might leach phosphate. In addition, the coarse substrates tend to accumulate debris and release a lot of nutrients. I had to pitch all my crushed coral to get to what I thought was a tolerable maintenance level.
