bought this the other day and was told it was a brain coral.has not opened out yet so im lost have it on the bottom of the tank at the mo .any info would be great

from ireland and new here

Looks like favia, a type of brain indeed.

the second one is a goniopora, what color is it? the first one is a favia, since the coralites do not share the walls in between them.
