I'm not sure what is up with this lady but hopefully someone will have an idea.

I just added this pair of clowns to my frag tank on Friday. They came from a friend of mine who has had them alone in another tank for months. I trust him and know he's more anal about QT than I am so that is not a worry at this time.

Today I noticed that she has discoloration on the upper side of her body starting mid way through the first white stripe and extending to the middle white stripe. If you look close at the picture it also appears to be swollen and raised up in the middle of the white stripe (I can crop the picture if need be to see it better). She is breathing very fast, and while she's swimming she's not swimming around like her mate. I dropped some food in there and while she showed interest she did not consume any. The rest of her looks good from what I can see.

One thing I will add is that there is a GBTA that they went into within minutes of entering the tank on Friday. This morning I noticed the foot of the GBTA was swollen up much more than normal, but I chalked it up to BTA's being BTA's and didn't think much more of it than that. Is it possible the BTA decided to kick her out or attempt to chow on her, I know it's not common for BTA's to do that but it does happen.

Any ideas on this one?

Looks like brook.

This is my salvage protocol. I would implement immediately.

Then treat with either chloroquine or copper. Treat both.

You need to treat the other. Don't delay.
