got it at the lfs, the people who sent it had it labeled either hairy mushroom or marble mushroom, got 2 different rocks but neither bag was labeled, way to go wholesalers >:( . but they arent always known for labeling things correctly. anyways lets hear some thoughts.

Just be cautious, maybe it's just me, but yours MIGHT be bleaching? It looks almost transparent.

we got some in the same shipment labeled green hairy mushrooms, and they are are even in color and more hairy as well. i think the color is kinda screwy on account of my camera phone and made the base look lighter than it really is. but i have him in a lower light portion of the tank, where my other purple mushrooms are doing quite well.

Those are green hairy mushrooms, also I don't know of any wholesalers who label bags, kind of a strange expectation to have...

sun pet labels the bags, albeit the labels are wrong half the time. but the other vendor doesnt label them. ill see if i can get a pic of the other mushrooms today at work and post them in here to see what you guys think as well. same genus im sure, they look hairier than these though

everyone is right the common name is Hairy Mushroom and the scientific is Rhodactis.
