Okay so I have a 28 Gallon Nano Reef JBJ LED System. The only thing I have added is 30 pounds of live rock, cabbage coral, pink carpet coral, a heater of course and a mini hydro power head for circulation. If it were you how many fish do you think is sufficient, reef safe and decently hearty. What fish would they be? Couple Clowns? Trigger? clean up crew? Just to name a few of course.... I am just curious to see what others thoughts are.
Thanks!

Seahorses are difficult to care for a beginner. My opinion I'd go with a pair of clownfish (Ocelleris or Perculas), Royal Gramma, Clown Goby, Firefish, Possum Wrasse. No tangs though. Mandarin needs a mature tank and are difficult to feed. They need an endless supply of pods to feed on.

Cardinals would be okay too. The triggers would be a bad plan because of size and feeding of most of them. I have a soft spot for skunk clowns. Don't get to big and seem to be rather passive. I have had good luck with them hosting in anything you drop in.

Coral Beauty Angel, Pair of Clownfish and a couple Firefish - keep it simple and remember the smaller the system the harder it is to keep stable. If you truly are new, you really need to consider this before attempting on a system such as this. 28 Gallons might be big enough to be ok but I know I tried a 10 gallon years ago when i first started and my experience was so bad I quit this hobby for 5 years before trying again - i now have a 90 and my water seems to be a lot more stable.

Please don't put a tang, trigger or angel in a 28g.

No trigger. No mandarin or dragonette unless you are prepared to buy lots of bottles of pods or to culture your own pods. No angels. No tangs.
Max of 4 fish...and that pushing it.
Fish to chose from: firefish, smaller species of clowns, gobies, blennies, dartfish, cardinals, pygmy wrasse.

Too much flow for seahorses in a reef tank, generally speaking. Angels aren't reef safe, again generally speaking and neither are triggers. Stay small, maybe a pistol shrimp and goby pair. I would focus on corals and just one or two small very docile fish. Firefish are nice in a 29. Smaller water volumes spoil more quickly if things go bad so keep it lightly stocked. It's a reef tank not a fish tank. :)
