Seeding my first tank

So I am seeding my first tank. I have rock and sand on the way from Steve@ Reef Rocks. He recommends getting a scrapping of corriline from someone, others say buy a small amount of live rock from LFS. What do you all recommend? I worry about introducing something bad right at the start.

You can seed the tank, just by ghost feeding. Every couple of days just put some fish flakes. This will get your cycle going, watch for your ammonia to appear. If your afraid of pests then don't buy live rock/sand. Check out the sticky thread on setting up a tank.
