Mag 9.5 loud

I have a mag 9.5 it is a little to loud...
I laced a ziplock lock bag with sand under it and it didn't help.
I was wondering if this would help... You the matting they sell at lowes to put snide tool box drawers. Bunch of little rubber squares....
Would that help me and is t safe?

Also other methods would be great to hear

I zip tied sound dampening pads from bulk reef to my mag 18. Helped a bit. The mag drive pumps are just loud. IMO
