I was wondering if anyone out there has built or taken a tank with corner overflows and installed a coast to coast the full length of the tank that ties into the corner overflows.

So basically instead of plumbing holes behind your tank for a standard internal Coast to coast, you install a coast to coast that tied into your corner overflows thus draining the water into the corner overflows then down to your sump.

Would something like this work??? I haven't seen any tanks like this.

i would remove the overflows and replace em with something more slim. especially if they are corner overflows. check this out

Thanks for the thread posts. I was thinking, instead of going through all that work of removing corner overflows, what if the coast to coast was installed between the two overflows. This way I would keep all the plumbing under my tank, However I would be able to skim the entire length of the tank. i am just wondering if the water flow would be okay to drain to the corner overflows even though it is across the length of the tank.
