Thoughts on pic of rock I picked up?

I picked up this 1.5lb rock from the LFS because of what was on it, i put it in a individual QT kinda tank I have setup until I can get an ID of what is on it & whats good or bad & what you all suggest I do with it.
Any thoughts/ideas would help.

Im gunna work on picture quality too... Gotta get camera dialed in

Looks to me like a green mushroom, maybe a species of Rhodactis, a very easy-to-keep coral.

Okay, thats what I was thinking. it looked a little rough the first few days. think i should just leave it on that rock & see how it goes?

It's always a good idea to quarantine new corals anyway, so why don't you just leave it there and observe it for a while?

I got a little green mushroom on one of my rocks too. It's been there for a few months now and is doing well. Good luck.
