These are Sol whites, not super blues. 2 white leds for each blue. I gradually raise intensity to 40% at mid photoperiod. The tank is a 50 gallon with two light units. The tank is 17 inches high. It looks like a few of my zoanthids are bleaching while on one colony it's adding polyps weekly.
What does a bleached zoa look like?

I have two Blues over a 75, both are 7/8 inches over the water, blues are 55% and the write is 30. I just switch them for the two 150 halides, so I'll play with the intensity over time.

I have 2 ai sols at 11" above the water. I run them at 30b 30w at 31rb. my polyps dont grow fast, but my nemy loves it. I also get small diatoms blooms every week.
how long have you been running your ai lights?

From my experience 6" is too close to the water. I have mine at 14" running 50/70/70. The higher you put them the better the light spread you get. Also, it seems the higher you put the AIs the better the colors become.
