I've got a 40 Breeder with a 10G sump and I am upgrading to a 30 gallon sump because of overflow problems. I currently have a coralife 65 superskimmer and with the more water volume(got more fish too) I want to upgrade. I would like to get a good skimmer that is also a pretty good deal. I have a low to mid range bio-load. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just about everything under the sun will be an upgrade to the CL SS65. you might want to look at the bubble magus lineup.

Different skimmers have different depth requirements for your sump. Do you have a budget? Reef Octopus, Bubble Magnus, Sea Side Aquatics, SCA 302, Tunze 9410, Reef Dynamics IN80, there are plenty of good skimmers I would not over size the skimmer, I will be running a Bubble Magnus NA6A with the new style pump on my 40 breeder.

reef dynamics ins80 is perfect for a 40 breeder. you could go with a cone, but, a cone that does not have the pump external will not pull what the ins80 can. As some stated reef octo makes the nwb110..not bad...less of a skimmer than the ins80 in capabilities. Much worse pump. Maybe the recent impeller upgrade will increase the longevity of the pump. They upgraded impellers in June . Cone wise... If you can find an I-Tech 100 used..I would say get that. It would be nice if companies offered a cone as good as that one for smaller tanks.
If money is no object you could go with a atb840 or bubble king mini160 as well.

Alright thanks for all the help! I'll look for a boxing day sale on them but I'll probably get a Reef octopus of some kind
