I just built the same tank and run an ATB 840 and love it. A reef octopus xp 2000 or SRO 2000 would do a good job as well and will be cheaper then the ATB.

what does this have to do with o.p question? I can say the Sro line is fantastic. I run an sro 3000ext on a system with almost 300 gallons and id does a great job. Best skimmer I have ever owned.

Im currently running a Bubble magus cs180 for the same size tank. Works very well. I used to have an atb 840 in another 120g a few years back and it also work well. I honestly cant tell the difference in the skimmate production between the skimmers.
