Ok, I have been reading for weeks trying to figure out what to do with my new setup.
I ordered a brand new ELOS 120 system (aprox 90 gallon) and I just need LIGHTS!!

I have been out of the hobby for about a year, i gave my previous 60 gallon mixed reef to my father. it was lit by T5's.

I am new to the LED world and would like to support a fair amount of sps. Jesse from ELOS suggests i put two(2) of the new E-Lite 3S's over the tank but Im having trouble finding alot of information on these lights on the net. they look great but i just cant find enough info on them, anyone have experience with them?
Does anyone know how many of these i would need over a 48" tank?

From what i have gathered i would only need two of the Gen2 Radion's over the tank.. but i would have to hang the Radion's because they dont have tank mount hardware like the E-Lite3's do.
I really dont want to hang, but if i have to i have to..

Some one please help haha, 2 (or more?) of the E-Lite 3S's or 2 of the New Ecotech Radion Pros?

Elos is great but Ecotech has more features. Elos might look better/more integrated. You can't wrong either way. Personally I would go Ecotech.

Look into the Hyperion, Mitras, Razor, and DIY too

I'm tossing the GHL Mitras into the mix (again). You get MORE control than the Radion, more LEDs, more Spectrum, and more coverage.

go with the radion pro, as soon as we get the farm up and going we are going all radions g2 and pros

so two GHL Mitras over the elos 120 should be amazing.. what would be the sleekest hanging option? this being an elos system i want to maintain this very "classy" look

I have a Elos 100 (75 gallons) and I have a Maxspect Razor hanging over it. You could do the same fixture over the Elos 120. Mine is set at 75% at the highest. You would raise the fixture to 12 inches above the water and max the output to between 75% and 100% slowly within 2-3 months. Just have the sps in the middle of tank and low light corals at the ends
