My 1 & 1/2 year old , ~160 gal, custom tank (built by Marineland) sprung a big leak from it's bottom seal last week. Fortunately, I was able to save the fish and the live rock by putting them in my friends 100 gal holding tank.

Marineland will not replace the tank because it is over one year old (not happy!) so I am in need of getting another tank built asap. I live in Connecticut so I am hoping to find a company that is relitively close. There are a few listed in the NY area.

Does anyone have any recommendations &/or experience with custom tank builders?

Thanks!

I just received a custom made tank by Planet Aquariums in Dallas. They ship to LFS and it turned out amazing and they were very easy to work with. My tank through them, even with LFS markup was about $400 less than Miracles. Mine is all starphire with PVC bottom 48x26x22. I would highly recommend them. Good luck.

X2. The owner/builder built aquariums for Oceanic for 15 years, then Deep Sea Aquatics for 3. They can build it any way you want it.
