BFS is proud to announce the availability of our new MAXR RO Membranes! These membranes are for our customers in situations that demand the absolute best performance. The higher the rejection rate, the more pure the RO water, and the longer your DI resin will last. The MAXR's come with a guaranteed rejection rate of 98+%! We begin with Filmtec membranes - the most trusted name in RO membranes on the market. The membranes are treated with a proprietary process to enhance performance, and tested to evaluate rejection rate and production. The result is a membrane guaranteed to perform to the most rigorous specifications!
***98%+ rejection - GUARANTEED!

These membranes are in stock and ready to roll - you can find them here (http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/showproducts.asp?Sub=153&showspecials=153)

Does it make sense to spend a little more to get a MAXR membrane? The best way to think through this is to consider the effect having a high rejection membrane will have on the money you spend of DI resin. Remember that the higher the rejection rate, the cleaner the RO water (a.k.a. "permeate"), and the longer your DI resin will last.

So just how much money will you save?

The table below shows the savings "Reefer Joe" can expect using a MAXR membrane. Assumptions used to generate data in the table are shown. Even if your tank is smaller than Joe's, or your tap water is cleaner, the general conclusion is a no brainer: A high rejection MAXR membrane will pay for itself in short order!

And in answer to some questions:
1. YES! - these membranes fit in standard residential RO membrane housings
2. The flow restrictor to use with these membranes is BFS-217 Capillary flow restrictor, pre-trimmed for 75 gpd
