Hi All,

I have this macro algae in my tank that I need to ID to remove it.

The water has been tested a number of times and always comes back perfect. It's a Zeovit tank. The light is a new Elos HQI 250 W, plenty of flow, water changes, carbon, phos remover. Still the algae grows. The big issue is that the algae is growning around a montipora and others SPS.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated

Thank you.

saw-tooth Caulerpa, or a similar specie of Caulerpa.

I thought so too. But the leaf is quite different...

I have two different tanks and in one it grows like this and the other (where the first came from) grows where it matches google pics closely. I have always assumed it was a lighting difference. I like this compact form better.
