I am working on setting up a 96 long 48 wide 16 deep coral/frag tank.

I have been looking around and I'm not sure what sump/skimmer combo to go with.

I'd prefer to avoid socks if it all possible, I am just over the constant changing. If I can't get away then so be it, but it I can then I'd like to.

I've looked at ETSS, MRC and Lifereef. We have an ETSS on another system and it is a monster (years of use with damn near no adjustment), just seems the senses on them now is they are power hogs and there are better things out there.

Still on the fence about running a fuge, I know I need some biological from the sump as the display will have very little rock, mostly sand and corals.
