I've noticed these pop up in my picotope, which I admittedly don't do very much maintenance on. I just set it up about 6 months ago with a couple rocks and small frags from one of my other tanks and let it do it's thing.

I've never seen them before. There are no fish in it, just some zoas, mushrooms, kenya/colt trees and some monti plates and a tort sps, and probably a few extras I've forgotten about. I do a monthly 33% water change using tropic marin pro reef.

I haven't paid the closest attention to the tank but I think they are animals because they appear to move throughout the day.

Theyre flatworms. I dont have a lot of knowledge on them, but if you google "flatworms in reef" or something im sure you can find more info!
And im sure someone with more experience will reply!
