My MG is reading 1530-1560, how do I lower it?

I don't think there is a good way to lower it other than to quit adding it. Do you know how it got there in the first place? FWIW, as long as it doesn't continue to rise a little over 1500 isn't terrible.

Don't add it.

Check the mag level of your salt mix

Do water changes

The only way to lower the level is to do water changes with a lower-magnesium salt product. Over time, the level might drop. That range likely is safe enough, so I wouldn't worry much unless some animals seemed to be having trouble.

I use crystal salt, and do water changes every 2 weeks on a consistent basis. I stopped dosing. My coral bleached a bit, now with your guys help I'm on the urge of buying regular salt mix.

Numbers in that range should be safe enough. I might get a second opinion on the test kit, and look for other reasons for the bleaching. If a lot of supplement was added in a short time, that might cause problems, though.
