Hello;
as having some troubles with a couple corals and would like to have an anemone soon.
I just purchaes a 4X 24 Watt T5 on Ebay and would love some help in choosing the right placement and bulbs.
From my reading I should change bulbs right away!
I like a little bluer look and from my research think that ATI make some nice bulbs. However would rather have healthy corals and be able to keep an anemone.
I have a 20 Gallon tank. Here is pic

Please help
Thanks,
Al

A little frustrated! I thought these forums were to help people. I have been searching the web for hours with no luck. This forum has a couple threads that do not answer my questions. I wonder with all the views and no answers if I should look for a new forum to participate on. Being new to the game not a good start.

You may have run into difficulties because there is no question being asked, and from the wording it sounds like you already decided what you were going to do. Here are a couple of threads that may help, the first one is a great place to get bulb recommendations and placement.
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2096816&page=108

This one will show what a few of the most popular bulbs are.
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1733444

BTW, both of these threads were in the first two pages of this section, the first link is many years old, and has more bulb combinations and placement answers in it than any other thread on this forum. I know it is a huge read, and not always easy to figure out what you are reading, but it would have been a great place to post this thread. Sometimes it may take more than 6 hours to get an answer, especially on a weekend. :-)

I was ready to answer but your attitude needs a serious adjustment. There are literally hundreds of threads with your question and the answer.2 ATI blue plus, 1 ATI purple plus and 1 ATI coral plus.

Next time, give some of us more than 3 whole hours to reply. Answering the same question 15 times a day, gets old.

What kind of anemone? The lighting requirements for a bubble tip are not the same as a carpet. Ebay is not a manufacturer and you can find the lowest quality or the highest quality light on Ebay. No one knows what you have, you didn't give any information or ask a proper question. Ryan understands T5 lighting better than most people, myself included, (by far!) but with virtually no information from you, the best he can do is offer the combination that most people use, which he did. No harm, no foul, but I hope you see that no one has a magic crystal ball, and the more information you give will ensure you get the best answer possible. Since no one knows what fixture you have, the ballasts, reflectors, etc., or what kind of anemone you want to have, it is extremely difficult to offer much help. The majority of us want to help, but a lack of information from you made it very hard to help. I hope that makes sense? :-)

Thanks for the response, I see, I wasn't being very clear.
I have a ZOO MED 2X 24 W T5 right now
Light I bought;

Do you think I am on the right track?
Will defintely use the configuration of bulbs listed above.
I was hoping for a sebae, I hear they are one of the easier anemones to keep?
An educated guess frmo you guys would be very beneficial.

It is not a top of the line fixture but over a 20 gallon tank it will be adequate for your needs. Sebae's are at times difficult which is mostly because they are in poor health by the time they get to your LFS. Water quality plays as much of a role as light and proper feedings. If this is your first anemone, it is not a good choice because they are not easy, none of them are easy, but some are easier than others. Bubble tips and mini carpets are much easier.

Anything you would change for Anemone care;
Also looking for an anemone that will host Clowns rather than them annoying my corals.
Any thoughts on this. Friend told me there is no guarantee the clowns will host it, but they seem to like my bubble coral!

Your friend is right, there are no guarantees with clowns and anemones, clowns are funny little fish. Your phosphates are way too high. There is an anemone section here, with excellent information in the stickies.
