i just got a reefkeeper lit, and im trying to run a spliter and the cable to my computer so that its always connected. i have the 6 pin rj12 spliter and i have a 6 pin line. the problem is when i hook the line into the spliter is shuts everything off and doesnt read any of the moduals on the myreef software. the spliter works fine. but i dont get why the 6 pin wire wont work.
