BTA and blue legged hermit crabs

For some reason my bta has moved to a different spot on his rock twice now within 2 days. I have about 6-10 hermits that my boyfriend gave me from his tank which is how I got the bta as well. When I feed the anemone a few hermits will be practically waiting for me to give him food and even though the bta closed on his food today (yesterday he did not) the crabs were still messing with him and he ends up moving. This was never a problem when my boyfriend had the bta. Advice?

What are you feeding? First here is what I do I take a frozen mysis cube and thaw it in some tank water turn off the flow then pour some in one end of the tank the crabs will go to it, as they are feeding then pour the rest over the top of you anemone.
