Starting a build thread for my starphire reef savvy cube 103 gal tank. Lighting for the tank is:

T5/LED Combo Lighting:
4 – 39w T5s Powered by a IceCap 660
12 - CREE XP-G Neutral White 3W LED with 60° Lens
12 - CREE XP-G R5 Cool White 3W LED with 60° Lens
24 - CREE XT-E Royal Blue 3W LED with 60° Lens
4 - Mean Well ELN-60-48D dimmable drivers


Picked up the tank/stand/canopy today and got it moved in my house. The stand would not fit in the original room where I wanted it so this is where it sits now. I just got done hanging the canopy and rinsing 40 lbs of sand. Will probably add another 20-30 lbs of sand to the tank. I will be using a 40 breeder tank as my sump.

Thats what I have so far setup. Been working on it for little over 2 weeks now Im just waiting for the tank to cycle which I think is about half way done. I did re scape my tank last night and Im waiting for it to clear up and Ill post some photos.

Very cool! I love the look of cube tanks. Dunno if I could wrap my head around all that wiring near the sump though. Are those the drivers for the LEDs?

New scape! Still might move a few rocks around but this is the idea. Still cloudy from moving everything around.

Nice tank....what are the dimensions?

Was in Knoxville over the weekend, which Im there often, and they have a really nice LFS called The Coral Reef. I bought them there. They have hundreds of frags and coral for sale and their tanks are always really clean. Heres their facebook if you want to check them out or if you're ever in Knoxville.

very nice... is that 1/2" glass? I had asked RS for a quote a little while back for I think the exact dimensions and they gave
me a quote for a tank that is 18" tall.

I have 2 Tunze 6095s coming as well, they are back ordered.
