I have a clown that is hosting, well attempting to host, in my hammer coral. The attempts to host in it seem to be irritating it. Is there anything I can do to discourage the clown from hosting? Or will the hammer become use to the clown?
Thanks

How big is the hammer compared to the clowns? If the clowns are alot bigger than the hammer I could move the hammer. If the clowns are smaller I would just keep a close eye on the hammer.

The hammer coral is about the same size as the clown. It's just my one, the smaller one. The female hosts in a mushroom, which she defends from the small male.

I have a clown that host in my hammer and eventually kills the heads as it rubs against them over and over again.. My hammer is several dozen heads so another head or 2 usually pops up somewhere else... My true percula is aleast 2.5 inches.

The clown that is hosting in the hammer is about 1 1/2 inches, maybe. It's tiny. The hammer only has one full head. There is a second one that's growning, but it's too small, about pea size.
