Hey everyone,

So my worst nightmare happened last night... My Redlip Blenny attacked, and killed, my remaining True Percula Clown (The other one went carpet surfing). He was the first fish I ever put in my tank, may he RIP. I instantly started trying to catch the Blenny, and took him back to the LFS.

However, with death comes new life! I picked up these 2 misbarred oscellaris clowns and a Harptail Blenny. I hope I get to enjoy them for a while. The Harptail should be a lot less aggressive towards my other inhabitants, and he's got a cool tail. :D

My old clowns never even thought about hosting my RBTA, but instantly the one with more white on it started sniffing around it, but he hasn't fully hopped in yet, so hopefully that'll happen soon.

Here are some pictures of the new inhabitants:

This guy is mirrored on both sides, and is the one interested in the RBTA:

Are misbarred Clowns like this common? What causes it?

Sad to say but the one with more white on it didn't make it. Had to send him to the whirlpool graveyard :( He never started eating then yesterday he started only swimming about half the time, the other half of the time he would just get blown around the tank upside and sideways without moving a muscle. Found him lifeless in the overflow this morning.

Still not sure what killed him, I drip acclimated him for 30 minutes, all parameters are perfect, and all other inhabitants are super healthy...

I still have some concern for the remaining clown as he doesn't seem as active as my other clowns were, but he is eating (a little bit) and at least he swims 90% of the time. Should I be worried?

Might want to take another look at your water just to make sure everything is correct. It might just be the animal....they dont live forever. At the same time I feel your pain, it is a helpless feeling sometimes.
