I am currently looking at getting a new tank, and if I can keep the costs down some I'll have a better shot at getting it! What I was wondering, and it may be a looong shot, but was would the light I have now be enough for the new tank? I currently have a 156 gallon (60x24x25) and I've got a 8 bulb 48" ATI dimmable Powermodule. It seems like this is more than enough light for my tank now....just not sure on a new beast I'm looking at? I saw a 300 gallon at the store and I've fallen in love the only problem is that it is 72 l x 36 w x 27 deep. What are your opinions on the old light and new tank?

I have been doing research on ATI all morning. I think 48" is not wide enough. You could however get another 24" and fill out the extra space. Or sell it and get a 60", the ATIs seem to hold most of their value. I am getting a 60" 4x80 for my 120 72" tank.

BTW: ATI only comes max of 48" in the dimmable series. Another $850 for a 24" dimmable with bulbs.
