Hi All,
I switched over from PAR38s to a kessil A350W about a month ago and have been gradually ramping up the intensity over the month. Recently I have noticed a pink Acropora millepora that I have near the top has dulled and develop an iridescent sheen. Im still getting polyp extension.
Have turned the light up too much? Im at about 75% on the light, should I turn it down or wait for the acro to adjust?

That's a big jump in lighting. I would say the Acro could be getting too much light. I have a A350W on a 29 BioCube and keep it at 30% and everything is happy at that. I would keep it down and wait. Might not need it at 100%.

There are other things that can contribute to an Acro bleaching. Might be good to do a parameters test, just in case.

Wow, really 30%.
Maybe I have overdone it. My last test was last sunday:-

Kh 10
Ca 430
No3 0.2ppm
mg 1200
PO4 0.16ppm

First course of action for you should be reduce your phosphate

Done, the last reading I took was before switching my phos remover. Phos is now sitting at 0.08ppm.
I have turned the light down to 50% (both B+W), How long before it colours up again and can I do anything to help?
