Hey guys,

I bought a calcium reactor made by Reef Life Support System and I have no idea what pump it runs. Below is a link to the reactor... any suggestions?

According to this (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog/rlss-calcium-reactor) article, the CM6 uses a DC2500 pump.

Ya I read that article but if you look at the DC2500 pump it looks nothing like the pump in the picture they are using.

Does anyone use this calcium reactor that knows exactly what pump to use?

I was supplied the 2500 but didn't fit

After a few calls the pump was replaced with the dc 5000 and its a perfect fit

Who makes the DC 5000? I need to order one. I think its pretty ridiculous that there is no info on their website and no instruction manual to give proper guidance.

Is this the pump:

Yes that's the one

I also had to buy some stainless bolts to hold the housing on the 5000 as they were missing not such a big deal but a pain anyway

Other than the pump mix up its a great reactor
