Hi,

So I have posted several threads on DIY 90 gallon stand build but now going towards the standard iron stand for my 90 gallon.

I just picked it up yesterday and wanted to know if the stand can handle a 40breeder on the bottom. Has anyone done this or know if it would be alright?

I will be building a false cabinet around it and can alter the design to hold the weight of the 40 breeder instead of putting it on the bottom shelf of the stand.
I rather not build the bottom frame if I don't have to so if anyone can assist that would be great.

Thanks!

It was hard to find it online but finally found a site that has the same one.

Assuming those dimensions show exactly what can fit in there.....
A 40B is 36" long so its not going to benefit from the end support a 48" tank will get with that stand.
So personally I would add more support just to "support" the ends of the tank so its not bowing that front/rear support beam.
