I've watched youtube videos and read on how to hook up to the Apex using a wireless bridge and no luck yet. thought I might throw it out here to see if anyone can help. My details:

I have a static IP from my router to my wireless bridge at 192.168.1.150. I know they are connected as it is recognized in my router client table.

I have my APEX set up to the following:

DHSC: off
IP: 192.168.1.155
Net Mask: 255.255.255.0 (matches my router)
Gateway 192.168.1.150 (may be the error as this is my bridge IP)

When I go to my address bar in browser, I type in 192.168.1.155 and nothing happens. when I type in 192.168.1.1 I access the router and 192.168.1.150 accesses the bridge with no problems. Do I have to set a port forward in my router to make the bridge a bypass to the apex? I kind of know what I'm talking about but not really so if anyone has advice, please talk stupid to me. Thanks

Pretty sure (but not 100%) that you want the Gateway address in your Apex to point to your router, NOT your bridge. So Gateway address should be 192.168.1.1... assuming that's your router address.

Also - did you change the port number on the Apex? If you changed it from its default 80, then you'll need to add that port number after the Apex address. Like this:

192.168.1.155:xxxx

where xxxx is your port number.

No..port is 80. I'll readdress the apex to my router. I feel like I did that and it didn't work. I'm assuming that when I check my router client table I should see the apex attached there to know I can access it through a webpage. Currently, I see the bridge, but not the apex unit

Turn on DHCP on your apex. Static addresses (for the most part) are a thing of the past, and it will just make things easier. The DHCP requests should forward over your bridge no problem.

That way you don't need to manually program your: IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS servers.

edit: You should not have to do any port forwarding unless you want to connect remotely. The problem is your gateway address, which needs to be your routers IP so that your apex knows to send the requested data to the router, which will in turn know to send it to which ever local computer requested the data.
