Noob here. Hi everyone!

After years of consideration, my wife and I have decided to get a saltwater aquarium. I stumbled across this forum with hopes of obtaining knowledge to build and maintain a successful and healthy saltwater environment. We have not yet even purchased a tank, but will be doing so after we figure out what will suit us best. I know where the search button is, and i'll do my best not to clutter the forum with repetetive questions and lazy manors. Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

my best advice...

Read, Read, read!!! there is a wealth of info here!! as you read through it.. keep a pen and notebook handy and make a list!! it will help tremendously!!!

ASK, Ask ask!! as many questions that you feel necessary!!! don't be worried about asking!! No question is a stupid question!!! only the question not asked is!!!! you have to be sure & comfy about what you're doing!!!

PATIENCE, Patience, patience!!! NOTHING Good Happens Fast in this Hobby!!! Take it slow!! and you will be MUCH better off!!!

and lastly... HAVE FUN!!!!! what's the point if you can't enjoy yourself??!!?

Hi I'm also new today. I need help! My hammer and frogspawn corals are giving off white slime. Will it hurt my other corals? I've been able to net catch most of it.
