Ati bulbs

I have 4x39 aquatic life fixture but the bulbs need replacement. What ATI 4 bulbs combo can you recommend? thanks

What kind of look are you going for?

2 blue plus
1 purple plus
1 coral plus

This^ for a 16k blue look. One of the better combos.

Swap the coral plus for an Aquablue special if you want a 14k look, GE6500 for a 10-12k look.

3 blue plus
1 purple plus for a 20k look. I have this on one tank.

2 blue plus
1 purple
1 actinic I have this on a tank as well.

I think my avatar is 1 ge6500,1 purple,& 2 blue plus.

Aqua blue special - most PAR of any lamp, the color is white
purple plus
coral plus
uvl actinic white - looking at trading this out for true actinic

or place Blue+ in position 4 and Aquablue special or Coral+ in position 3....
Will look killer either way...

def agree..cant go wrong with that combo...

then coral/purple +
Aquablue
Blue + = more white look

My experience with the aquablue special is that it washes out colors in corals especially sps. I'm not sure why but to me it does, it's the only bulb from ati I don't like.
