why does my cleaner shrimp go after my hand when i put food in the tank insted of the food it climbs up my hand and pick it and not the food right in front of it i know never to put ur hand in there but i dont have tongs or anyting or clamps i plan on buying some but why is the shrimp like that it sees my hand goes after it and stays on it

How long have you had the cleaner? Mine use to do the same thing but that's before he realized that the food was coming out of the pipette and not my hand

Its actually pickin off some of the dead skin. Over a year now my cleaner does that no matter what. i actually have a lawnmower blenny that tries to clean my hand as well.

I let mine do his thing on me...I have no problems with a little "hand" feeding.
