Looking for ideas here. It's a 210 fowlr tank with 200 lbs of LR. Don't really feel like spending $300 for a tunze as I think that kind of water movement is overkill for a fish only tank. How many times should my DT be turned over?

I have 2 MP40s in my 180 FOWLR and I think water movement is one of the most important things you can do for a tank, they will keep your tank cleaner and make your skimmer more efficient

So do you think I should aim for 10 x turn over in the display? If so it looks like I'm going to have to go to a higher end power head

You may not need the features of an MP40, but you should use two larger propeller style pumps. I would look at pumps around the 2000 gph rating.

Awesome! Yeah I was just hoping to avoid having to spend a ton so I will look into the above. Will FO systems benefit from wave maker type controllers?
