ive been working/preparing since September my 125 gallon tank. My 140# of dry rock is cured and in the tank with 120# of dry sand. Made my sump/fuge out of a 55 gallon tank. Everything is hooked up and my plumbing is leak free w my herbie over flow. Just now got the cables ran for my lights and spent most of the day in my attick securing it. Now I just wait for my cycle... wth do I do next! Sorry just excited everything is finally coming together!!!!

if u already cured ur rocks and they hae enough beneficial bacteria growing on them then you may not see a cycle. but anyways looks like ur going in right direction.

good luck

Take your time and read and plan now. Planning what livestock to add is really important. You will have less problems later if you don't rush in the beginning. Let the tank go thorough all of the stages it needs to and it will have less algae when you start adding livestock. Have Fun!!!
